Telia Norway has signed a contract for Subtonomy Roamers, an application that will assist them in providing the best possible quality of service for subscribers traveling abroad. The software is built with machine learning, allowing it to self-configure and it will continuously learn about the behavior of the network and its roamers without the need of manual instructions from the technical team.

Fredrik Edwall – EVP Sales & Marketing at Subtonomy, says:

“We have been working hard this year to get this enhanced application ready and are extremely happy to be able to deliver this to Telia Norway in time for the summer holiday peak and also the introduction of the new EU roaming regulations. Our strategy with machine learning together with a tight collaboration and feedback loop with Telia during the development phase has enabled us to supply a kick-ass application that will impact both quality and bottom line in a positive way”.

Björn Tore Gullor – Head of Service Assurance & Operation at Telia Norway, says:

“We are very satisfied and excited about this project. The outcome will enable us to provide a much better service to our customers traveling abroad and it will help us enhance our roaming revenue stream.”

This enhanced version of Subtonomy Roamers is now going live in the Telia Norway network and is at the same time becoming generally available.
